Event #1 of the MILLIONS North America, the $200 + $20 Playground 200, has already proven to be a huge success. With only two of four starting flights in the books, the Playground 200 has gathered enough entries to surpass the $100,000 guarantee! The two remaining starting flights are sure to draw more large fields and push the prize pool to dizzying heights.

Kicking of today at 12:00pm, Day 1C is the turbo flight for this event so the blind levels will be shortened to 15 minutes, but players will begin with the usual starting stack of 25,000 in tournament chips and play 14 levels before bagging for tomorrow’s Day 2. The accelerated pace of today’s flight will likely lead to some wild action in the early levels while players can still take advantage of the unlimited re-entry option.

For anyone who already has chips bagged for Day 2, this afternoon presents a great opportunity to try to gather more ammunition because players may play additional Day 1s even if they have survived a previous Day 1 with chips. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack; all other qualifying stacks will be forfeited.
