The $1,000 + $100 Main Event of the WSOP-C Playground will reach a fever pitch this afternoon when the final starting flight, Day 1C, kicks off at noon. The Main Event features a $2,000,000 prize pool guarantee and has brought out progressively larger fields with each passing starting flight. Yesterday’s Day 1B brought out a field of 377 entries, and 141 players qualified for Day 2.
The final starting flight of last year’s WSOP-C Playground Main Event attracted a whopping 1,016 entries, and today’s flight has a serious chance of beating that record. This is one you don’t want to miss!
Players start the Main Event with a stack of 50,000 in chips to play through 10 60-minute levels on each Day 1. This is a multiple re-entry event with one entry and one re-entry permitted during each starting flight as well as on each Day 2 until the end of the late registration and re-entry period at the beginning of level 13.
