The action continues in level 5 of the Pot Limit Omaha event with nearly one hundred players still involved. The re-entries started early and often this afternoon, and there have been 27 re-entries so far. The late registration and re-entry period will be open for another two hours so there will certainly be many more before then.

Matthew Witterick has been seen building big stacks in several events throughout this series, and he is the current chip leader in this one. With more than triple chip average, Witterick has a stack of roughly 340 big blinds. But there’s no telling whether or not that will see him through to the late stages. As everyone knows, pot limit omaha can be volatile, to say the least, and the players in this afternoon’s field are not being shy about putting chips in the middle so we are likely to see some swings on the leaderboard throughout the day.

The Pot Limit Omaha event is picking up pace, as new players find their way into the field. Things got off to a slow start at noon, but the re-entries started in the second level of play, and the action will only get faster from here on in. Expect many players to make use of the unlimited re-entry option right up until the late registration period ends at 4:30pm.

The final event of the WSOP-C Playground, the $500 + $50 Pot Limit Omaha, is about to begin!

This single-day event guarantees a prize pool of $50,000 and is sure to be a lively and action-packed affair. This is the last chance for players to capture a coveted WSOP-C ring so it is sure to bring out a big field.

Players will start with 25,000 in chips to play through as many 30-minute levels of eight-handed play as needed to crown a champion. Late registration and unlimited re-entries will be available until the beginning of level nine at 4:30pm.
