The Playground 200 is picking up pace through four levels of play on Day 1A. The sole re-entry from the first two levels has been joined by four others to bring the total number of re-entries up to five and the total number of entries up to 77. There are nearly 90 minutes left in the late registration and re-entry period so this field in this flight is likely to reach the century mark.

Day 1A of the Playground 200 is picking up pace. Now that two levels of play are in the books, the field has reached 65 entries. The ice was broken on the re-entries during the first level so there will certainly be many more to follow before the end of the late registration and re-entry period.
Players have until 2:15pm to (re-)enter this flight. For anyone unable to make it out this afternoon, Day 1B of the Playground 200 runs tonight at 7:00pm, and there will be two more starting flights tomorrow.

Event #1 of the June Power Weekend, the $200 + $20 Playground 200, rolls on today with the first of four live starting flights. The Playground 200, as usual, provides players with a starting stack of 25,000 in chips to start their journey to get a part of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Late registration, and unlimited re-entries, will be available until the beginning of the seventh level of play at 2:15pm. Each Day 1 will play through 14 30-minute levels before the levels increase to 40 minutes in length on Days 2 and 3. Players may enter multiple Day 1s even if they survived a previous starting flight with chips; players who qualify more than once for Day 2 will resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack.

The first live action in the Playground 200 is still a few days away, but a number of players have already secured their spots in Saturday’s Day 2 thanks to the Online Day 1 that was held yesterday afternoon on partypoker.
The Online Day 1 brought out 38 entries, 13 of which advanced stacks to Day 2. Seven players were able to play this flight at a huge discount, thanks to the two satellites held on partypoker prior to the Playground 200 flight.
The online chip leader will have a stack of 108,000 in chips waiting at Playground for Day 2. Two other players managed to surpass the 100K mark during the Online Day 1, resulting in an average qualifying stack of 73,000.
The Playground 200 will take over the tournament hall on Thursday and Friday this week with four scheduled starting flights. The flights will start at 11:00am and 7:00pm each day; they permit unlimited re-entries, and players can enter as many starting flights as they wish to advance the largest possible qualifying stack.
Although the first card won’t be pitched until Thursday morning, the June Power Weekend will get off to an early start on Sunday with satellites and an online Day 1 for the $200 + $20 Playground 200 on partypoker.
For anyone looking to play their way in at a huge discount, partypoker will be hosting two direct satellites to the Online Day 1 on Sunday. The first starts at 12:00pm and guarantees at least two seats to the Playground 200 for a buy-in of only $10 + $0.50. The second kicks of at 2:00pm and guarantees 5 seats for a buy-in of $21 + $1.
Starting at 4:00pm on Sunday, the online Day 1 will be the first of five starting flights for this edition of the Playground 200. As usual, this event features a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 and is sure to bring out a huge field of players.
Each Day 1 starts players with a stack of 25,000 in chips and permits unlimited re-entries until the beginning of the seventh level of play. Players can enter multiple Day 1s, even if they have already qualified for Day 2. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack; all other stacks will be forfeited.
The live Day 1s will be held on Thursday and Friday of next week, with starting flights on each day at 11:00am and 7:00pm. Day 2 runs Saturday at 1:00pm, and Day 3 runs on Sunday, June 30, at 12:00pm.
