On table 13, the true home of PLO, just before 8pm the largest Omaha BBJ in Playground Poker Club history was just won! The last time the Omaha jackpot hit was a long time ago – the 27th of October. Since then, the jackpot amount continued to climb to an incredible $220,122!
The hand began quite modestly, with few chips invested, and both players hit the flop so hard that they looked to play the hand slowly. It was only on the river that the fireworks began. Pinto, a regular in the Omaha games at the club, made a small bet – only to face an all-in re-raise from Maxime Boulais.
Pinto looked once again at his cards, and said, “I really hope that you have quad Nines!” and called the bet. The rest is best represented by the following photos:
Jackpot Payouts
Loser of the hand: $104,558
Winner of the hand: $52,279
Other players at the table (6): $8,713

The Bad Beat Jackpot Omaha is adjusted to $22,275. Updates in the Omaha Bad Beat Jackpot Rules have become in effect the moment after the hand pictured above.
These updates are simple: Omaha players now have their own room share. It is now impossible to see the entirety of the jackpot be awarded to the neighboring table! The amount will now be divided according to the 40/20/20/20 split: 40% to the loser of the hand, 20% to the winner of the hand, 20% to the other players at the table, and the last 20% will go to the other Omaha players in the room. The new Omaha Bad Beat Jackpot Rules reflect these changes.
Note that until the current Primary Bad Beat Jackpot is hit, Omaha players will have access to both room shares!! That’s right, they will get a piece of the current Primary Bad Beat Jackpot, as per the modalities in effect at the start of the current period. They will also get a piece of the next Omaha cake, as per the modalities of the period that started when all these nines fell in combat!
