The first ever High Heels Poker Tour to take place in Canada got off to a great start at Playground Poker yesterday. 49 women participated, with some coming in from the USA and Ontario to take part. Pros included the likes of Trishelle Cannatella, Valerie Ross and Jennifer Leigh.
In the end, this event was mostly about having fun playing the game we all know and love. To add to the excitement, PokerStars generously provided a Carribean Adventure package was also given away with a draw. The coveted package is certain to provide excellent relief as our Canadian winters bear down on us.
In the end, two women remained: Josee Tremblay and Anne-marie Angelil. The decision was quickly made to split the prize money and the two duked it out for the trophy and bragging rights. In the end, Josee Tremblay took the top prize and ended the day on a high.
