Last week, we announced the return of the WPT Montreal from October 20 to November 4 and a $3,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. After finalizing the last details of the schedule with the World Poker Tour, we can now officially release the dates, formats and guarantees of all seven events that will make up the WPT Montreal 2019!

The festival will kick off with the ever-popular WPT500. This year, the $500 + $50 event presents a $1,066,000 guarantee. The odd number represents one million in cash and twenty $3,300 seats for the Main Event, which will be awarded to the top 20 finishers on top of their prize money. The event is an unlimited re-entry tournament, which means that you can throw in as many bullets as you wish across the five online and eight live starting flights.

Following the WPT500 will be the $300 + $30 Freeze, the $200 + $20 Ladies and the $5,000 + $300 High Roller. The Freeze and Ladies are both one-day events, but the High Roller will play three days of poker before the champion is decided.

Then comes Event #5: the $3,000 + $300 Main Event. Players are once again able to complete Day 1 and Day 2 online in a single glorified starting flight, aptly named: the Main Event Online Day 1 & 2. It is a great option for players who need to travel to get to Playground, because making Day 3 secures a cash prize, and what’s better than having your trip expenses taken care of before you’re even packed!

The Main Event also offers three live Day 1s, and the champion is crowned on Day 4. That player will take the lion’s share of the $3,000,000 guarantee and go home with the WPT belt, pictured below! From October 28 to October 30, eight satellites with 130 total seats guaranteed are offered to allow players to take a shot at a much cheaper entry into the Main Event. Another great option to save some money on your buy-in is to register with your PP LIVE Dollars, the flexible poker currency that can be earned in specific satellites on partypoker. As the Main Event action continues, the $1,500 + $150 WPTDeepStacks will fill the room, a $500,000 guaranteed event that offers three starting flights and unlimited re-entries. It comes to a conclusion on November 4, the very last day of the festival.

But let’s go back a day, because November 3 will be booming with tournament action. The last event, a $250 + $50 + $250 Bounty, starts at 1:00PM and plays to a winner. Once the field has shrunk a little, the Tournament Hall will fill up again with the CPP Satellite and a crowd of dreamy players, all vying for one of three guaranteed packages for the Caribbean Poker Party, worth US$6,000 each. The package includes a $1,100 entry to the Mini Main, $2,000 in expenses, $600 room credit and finally, nine nights at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for two people.
