The marquee event of the year, MILLIONS North America, is nearly upon us! The series runs from May 13 to May 26 and hosts ten events, putting over $8,000,000 in value up for grabs. MILLIONS brings three tournaments with seven-figure prize pool guarantees: the Montreal Open, the MILLIONS North America, and the High Roller. These tournaments are complemented by seven side events and lots of satellites to provide options for players of all bankrolls.
This year’s Main Event offers a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and presents some important differences from previous editions. First, the tournament structure has been revised: there are now only two starting flights, which follow a next-day re-entry format. This means that players can fire, at most, two bullets at this premier event – 1 for each Day 1. Second, the buy-in has been increased to $10,300.
We have introduced a series of STEP Satellites through which players can play their way in for as little as $90. The Montreal Open runs from May 17 to May 21 and guarantees a prize pool of $1,000,000. This $1,100 buy-in event features seven starting flights that permit unlimited re-entries to allow players as many shots as they want! There are nine satellites to the Montreal Open throughout the first week of the event that guarantee at least 85 qualifiers for the modest price of $150 + $15, making sure that the event brings out a HUGE field.
The High Roller, a $10,300 buy-in event that runs from May 23 to May 25, offers a much shorter path to a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. This event has a single Day 1 that permits unlimited re-entries. Buckle up for some high-paced action!
The seven side events offer a range of buy-ins and formats to provide a little something for everyone. Foremost among them is the Playground 200: a consistently popular Playground event with four starting flights and unlimited re-entries that guarantees a $100,000 prize pool for a buy-in of only $200 + $20.
In the closing days of the series, the Playground 1000 offers another $100,000 guaranteed prize pool in a single re-entry event with a buy-in of $1000 + $100. There are two satellites for that event, guaranteeing a total of 30 seats, ensuring that players can have a chance at part of the prize pool for as little as $150 + $15.
