Some friends in Day 4 of the WSOP Main Event

One of the great things about hosting so many major events at Playground Poker Club is the friends we make from around the poker world. With the biggest event of the year – the WSOP Main Event – now in the money and ready for Day 4, we thought we’d recognize some of the players we’ve come to know over the years as they try for a deep run.

First among these by chip count is Ottawa-based player Alexander Wong, who will start Day 4 in 3rd place by chip count. Following Alexander is a long list of players including former Playground Event Champions, local Quebec and Montreal players, as well as some players from further afield in Canada and the US.

Proof of vaccination required in Kahnawake

As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. This decision was made by the Public Safety Commission of Kahnawake and the MCK and applies to all non-essential businesses within the community of Kahnawake. Over the course of the last week, Playground implemented a series of measures to support the effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which culminated in a complete closure on Friday night at 11:59pm.
