Anniversary Week begins!

It’s mid-December in Montreal, which usually means two things: snow, and Playground Poker Club’s anniversary!

Well, there’s no snow yet, but Playground Poker Club will definitely be celebrating its anniversary in style!

The build-up to this year’s anniversary has been fantastic: the new Wicked Wednesday’s promotion has brought in huge numbers to join in the fun, and with Montreal’s favourite team scoring at an unprecedented pace, the Hockey Night promo has been better than ever.

Add to that the Secondary Bad Beat Jackpot that was awarded on December 9th, as well as the fact that the Primary Bad Beat Jackpot is over $400,000, and it’s easy to see that December has already been a great month; with the best yet to come.

The Playground Anniversary Series gets underway on Thursday December 17th with a $60 + $10 Win the Button event and then continues that night with a $200 + $20 Deepstack, and on Friday the 18th with a $500 + $50 Deepstack at 11am.

Saturday and Sunday will bring a never-before-seen event to the Tournament Hall: the $70 + $10 NL Hold’em 5-Year Extravaganza, featuring 10 Day 1 starting flights! As usual, players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play with only their biggest stack BUT, for the first time ever at Playground Poker Club, every qualifying stack will get a minimum cash payout as well.

Join Larry Robinson in this amazing event that gives players more chances than ever to qualify for Day 2 and to accumulate some cash on the way! As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. This decision was made by the Public Safety Commission of Kahnawake and the MCK and applies to all non-essential businesses within the community of Kahnawake. Over the course of the last week, Playground implemented a series of measures to support the effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which culminated in a complete closure on Friday night at 11:59pm.
