The first two poker events in Playground Poker Club’s Hat Trick Series are in the history books with Event 3 taking place on Sunday, March 17. The Series has been great on the poker side of things and now the fun starts for the kids, with on-ice sessions from their hockey idols.

On Thursday, February 28 Travis Moen visited the Kahnawake Sporting Complex to give the first two coaching clinics that are the real focus of the Hat Trick Series. The fortunate players benefiting from this (the first 2 of 9) were young members of teams in the Kahnawake Minor Hockey Association. Kids were thrilled about running drills, playing bulldog and even scrimmaging with one of their real-life heroes. Before and after the clinics, fans got to take pictures and get autographs from Moen, who made sure everyone left happy.

Eight clinics remain, with stars like Guy Carbonneau, Max Pacioretty and Josh Gorges all slated to lend a hand at KMHA practices throughout the month of March.

The Hat Trick Series is a tournament of three separate events, concluding at the Hat Trick Playoffs being hosted by Playground Poker Club. The series is designed to provide players an amazing poker experience while raising money for youth hockey.

The official sponsors of the series are PartyPoker.net and Hockey Helps. Hockey Helps provides the materials and support to help organizations develop successful and rewarding fundraising campaigns.

The Hat Trick Series continues with Event 3 on Sunday, March 17^th and the Hat Trick Playoffs will be held on Friday, March 22.

Notes: All tournament fees and add-ons collected go to support youth hockey in Kahnawake and the Montreal area. 20% of the prize pool from each Hat Trick Event will be added to the prize pool for the Hat Trick Playoffs.

As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. This decision was made by the Public Safety Commission of Kahnawake and the MCK and applies to all non-essential businesses within the community of Kahnawake.
