It’s been an exciting week at Playground Poker Club. The action has been hot during the Playground Poker Classic and it’s about to get event hotter this weekend with a $500 Heads-Up Tournament set to start today and something we don’t see too often in Canada a massive $3000 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack the signature event of the series set to square off on Saturday with potentially up to $360000 in prize money up for grabs and the winners receiving special championship bracelets. You can expect to see some of Canada’s top poker pros in the house including Eric Cajelais and Gavin Smith who has been here all week and already took down the $100 Deep Stack Turbo on Wednesday.
In some of the recent tournaments this week Michael K. won the $300 NLHE Bounty tournament on Thursday and pocketed a cool $5300 to join the Winner’s Circle at Playground and also earning himself a bracelet. Other winners include Jean-Philippe Piquette another well known poker player on the Quebec poker circuit who won the $100 No-Limit event Louis TheGreek007 Varoutsos who won the $200 Deepstack Turbo Cedric Sebbag in the $100 6-Max Pot Limit Omaha Marc Dupre in the $150 No Limit Hold’em and Real Villeneuve who won $2 800 in the freeroll.
