Day 1F of the WPT500 was by far the largest starting flight of this event. It took in a total of 470 entries, a figure which was helped along by 105 re-entries.

This flight was full of wild action from start to finish. Only the first level of the day played out somewhat cautiously. After that, the players found their stride and the chips started flying. Several different notable players held the chip lead at various points, but, in a pattern that was seen in other starting flights, nobody was able to maintain the pole position for very long. Also, the flight’s chip leader only rose to the fore in the late stages of play. Today that was Robert Greenberg. He flew under the radar for most of the flight before capitalizing on some big pots at critical moments as the end of the flight approached. Greenberg bagged 592,500, good enough for the fifth largest stack so far. Greenberg is closely followed by Jordan Saccucci with 577,00 in chips and Jean Luc Joseph, who bagged 535,000.
