Over on table 28, Jean Francois Alexandre just collected a healthy pot of about 12,000 chips.

The last of four players to call the preflop 1,000 chip raise, the table ended up checking the 7 of Spades 7 of Diamonds 2 of Clubs flop.  When the 4 of Spades came down on the turn, Jean Francois knew it was time to act. He thinned the herd by betting 3,500. Only Remi Blanc called, two seats to his left.

The river was a 5 of Spades, and Jean Francois shoved his remaining stack. That made it easy for Remi, who casually tossed his cards away, not willing to tangle with Jean Francois’ potential flush.
