Eric Levesque played a solid game and was on the leaderboard all day long. When he arrived on the final table, he sat back and watched the action as he just wasn’t picking up hands. Finally, a pair of pocket-nines seemed like the right spot to make his move, and his chips went in. Danny Landry was feeling confident and he made the call with king-queen.
The flop came and all of the sudden Levesque was in desperate need of hitting a nine. The turn and river didn’t cut it for him and Landry sends Levesque to the tournament desk to pick-up his payout slip.
Fourth Place: Eric Levesque, $610
