Fairies are Wild

Last Sunday was a busy day in Playground’s Electronic Gaming space. It is always great to see the room full of action, and greater when the weekend produces a lot of Jackpots. Roger T. is certainly no stranger to EGD Jackpots. He has won a few in the past, but the size of this one will certainly make him remember it.

Roger was playing Thumbelina’s Dream, a game based on the classic Danish fairy tale story. Birds, mice, frogs, and of course, fairies, team up to present a whimsical experience in bright colours! At 12:21PM, fairies invaded Roger’s screen. Fairies are Wild, and so was Roger’s Jackpot: $11,250! Congratulations!

The Power Weekend is a mini-series of poker tournaments designed to give players the opportunity to play poker in a world-class setting without breaking the bank. This mini-series is also your last chance to earn a seat at the $10,300 MILLIONS North America.

The STEP system starts at STEP 1, a $90 satellite that awards seats to STEP 2. From there, you need to qualify for STEP 3, which awards MILLIONS seats. The last $90 STEP 1 is tonight! Jump in, who knows what might happen! And if you miss it, you can always join the road to MILLIONS at the $440 STEP 2 on Saturday, or even at the $1,650 STEP 3 on Sunday.

Power to the Players

EGD players may have noticed a new piece of hardware on our machines, located immediately to the left of the slit where you insert your Player’s Card. It is a touch-screen system designed to increase player autonomy, and will eventually allow our guests to manage their Player Rewards, and even order some drinks without having to stretch your neck to find the nearest waitress! Does it mean that new and exciting promotions are coming soon in the Electronic Gaming space? It definitely does! Stay tuned…

Proof of vaccination required in Kahnawake

As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. This decision was made by the Public Safety Commission of Kahnawake and the MCK and applies to all non-essential businesses within the community of Kahnawake. And we, as a business, support and respect their decision. Guests will be required to show their VaxiCode (QR Code) on their smartphone prior to entering the premises. Further to the additional health and safety measures announced yesterday, Playground will be making operational changes in response to the growing public health concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19).
