Welcome to Day 1D of the 2020 World Cup of Cards Grand Prix Canada. This $200+ $20 event offers amazing value with an outstanding $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. There have already been three live flights that have so far attracted close to 600 entries and players have also had the option to play an online starting flight on partypoker. Day 1E online is tonight at 7:00pm and is the last online flight.
Players start with 100,000 chips and play through 30-minute blind levels until the field is reduced to one in seven players, at which point all remaining players will be in the money and will bag for Day 2. Play will start 10-handed and move to nine-handed as soon as space permits.
The Grand Prix Canada is a re-entry event with unlimited re-entries permitted until the end of the late registration period at the beginning of level 11, which is at 10:30pm on Day 1D. Players may enter additional Day 1s even if they have survived a previous Day 1 with chips. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack; all other qualifying stacks are forfeited but each additional bagged stack will earn the player a $400 min-cash.
Good luck to all of the competitors!
