    February 28, 2020February 28, 2020 | 4:41am | Playground

The $150 + $20 + $50 PL Omaha Bounty Re-entry has wrapped up the first day of the February Power Weekend. Tonight’s event featured a guaranteed prize pool of $6,000 in addition to the $50 players would receive after eliminating a fellow competitor from the tournament. Event #3 was able to garner a total of 49 entries, including 18 re-entries, to push the traditional prize pool to $7,056 and bring the bounty total to $2,450.

There were no consistent chip leads throughout the night, as the leaderboard shifted after every break. The field narrowed to the final table relatively quickly and soon to the top five where play slowed. Goran Brestovac was eliminated in fifth place to go home with $560 and Matt. O followed in fourth for $800. The final three, Stefan Siveski, Nick Nickoletopoulos, and Wilfredo Mendoza Escobar, moved the chips back and forth for two levels before Nickoletopoulos was eliminated. He finished third for $1,130.

Escobar and Siveski agreed to an ICM deal which awarded Siveski with $1,860, Escobar with $1,830, and an additional $196 would be given to the winner. Escobar initiated the final hand by shoving preflop, Siveski called.

Escobar Ace of Diamonds Queen of Clubs Jack of Clubs 8 of Spades

Siveski Queen of Spades 7 of Spades 6 of Hearts 5 of Clubs

The flop revealed 7 of Clubs Jack of Hearts 8 of Hearts, giving a little something for each player, but the turn sealed the deal for Siveski with the 9 of Spades The river gave Escobar another pair with the Queen of Hearts, but Siveski won the pot and the tournament with a straight. Siveski was awarded $2,056 for first place and Escobar went home with $1,830 in second.

Congratulations to the PL Omaha Bounty Re-entry champion, Stefan Siveski!

    February 27, 2020February 27, 2020 | 7:54pm | Playground

The $150 + $20 + $50 PL Omaha Bounty Re-entry is about to kick off at 8:00pm. The third event of the February Power Weekend features a guaranteed prize pool of $6,000 plus the bounty prize pool, depending on how many bounty chips players can collect.

The final table will begin when nine players remain. Event #3 is a re-entry event with unlimited re-entries permitted during the late registration period. until the beginning of level seven.
