Play is underway in level 9, following the second break of the day.

The action maintained a brisk pace after the end of the late registration and re-entry period, which led to a complete turnover of the leaderboard. Most of the big stacks from the first break are still involved in this flight, however, the top three stacks currently in play are held by players who only recently rose to prominence.

The current chip leader, Gaetan Perreault, has over 240 big blinds at his disposal, putting him head and should above the rest at this stage. But, as everyone knows, big stacks can be fleeting in tournament poker so he will have to stay sharp in order to advance to Day 2.
