The $100 + $20 + $100 50/50 Bounty Re-entry started at 7:00pm and attracted a total of 221 bounty hunters battling it out for a piece of the $20,774 prize pool in addition to the $100 bounty for each player that was knocked out.

As soon as play started, you could hear dealers announce “all in” at different tables as there was great incentive to knock out players to acquire their bounty chips. By the time the first break came around, the players at the top of the leader board had already accumulated between three to four times the average chip stack.

Play slowed considerably once the money was reached but the final six players agreed to an ICM deal that sped things right back up. Patrick Slight was eliminated in third, walking away with $2550.

The final two players, Stephen Langlois and Bart Sieminski played a few hands before both shoved their stacks for all the marbles. Sieminski revealed 10 of Spades 10 of Hearts while Langlois delivered 6 of Spades Ace of Diamonds. The board read 7 of Clubs 4 of Diamonds Queen of Hearts 8 of Spades Ace of Spades giving Langlois the upper hand with a pair of aces to Sieminski’s pocket tens.

Sieminski finishes second and walks away with $1560. Langlois was awarded $720 in addition to the $2180 agreed upon in the ICM deal, making up a grand total of $2900. Congratulations!

The final table has definitely loosened up after agreeing to an ICM deal. Ayana Massa was quick to go all-in immediately after the agreement but was unable to pull through. Massa finishes in 6th to take home $2000. Danielle Bracy was eliminated soon after in fifth and walks away with $2550.

Once the final four found out the winner would also be given a tournament ring, play slowed down. Haralambos Margaritis was the first to go in fourth place. He goes home with the highest amount in the deal at $2844.

The final three remain fighting for the additional $720 plus the championship ring.

Ricky Campanelli and Haile Rafik were eliminated back to back in 17th and 16th respectively. Campanelli went all in pre flop against Bart Sieminski. Both players were ace high so each of them hoped their kicker would give them the win.

Sieminski Ace of Spades 8 of Spades

The flop was unable to give Campanelli what he was wishing for, making Sieminski’s eight-kicker victorious. Campanelli was awarded $260 for his 17th place finish.

And just like that the bubble has burst! The field is down to the last 28 players meaning everyone remaining is in the money and will walk away with at least $150.

Play has slowed drastically now that the bubble has been reached, there’s still lots of poker to be played.

The field is 2 spots away from being in the money and all in calls can be heard from every table. Josef Ares tripled his stack after going all in against two players. Ares and Guy Lebrun shoved pre-flop knowing they had to win to survive. Ares showed a Jack of Hearts King of Hearts and Lebrun 10 of Diamonds Ace of Spades. Benoit Leclerc decided to get in on the action and call with King of Clubs Ace of Hearts.

Board 7 of Hearts 9 of Hearts Queen of Diamonds Queen of Hearts 10 of Clubs

Ares’s cards made up a straight which was enough to collect Lebrun’s bounty chip and a big chunk of Leclerc’s stack.

Only one quarter of the players that entered the tournament remain. A lot of players are working with stacks worth the chip average of 117,000. They’re going to have to make some big pushes if they want to stick around and get in the money.
